Another pipe has been spotted on a north Norfolk beach, this time in Sea Palling.

It comes days after a Norwegian-made gigantic pipe was revealed at low tide on a beach in nearby Horsey.

A spokesman for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) confirmed that two pipes in total had been found on beaches in Horsey and Sea Palling.

The MCA said a number of large plastic bore pipes came free when they were under tow off the East Anglian coast destined for Algeria.

All of the pipes released have been brought under control, with some re-attached to towing vessels and others anchored just off shore, attended by guard vessels. The Coastguard said they posed no danger and would be relocated offshore north of Lowestoft, ahead of towing them back to Norway.
