Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision in Halesworth yesterday.

The incident happened in the car park near to the roundabout in Angel Link.

Police were called just before 4pm along with an ambulance and fire crews from Halesworth, Southwold and Leiston.

One person was medically trapped in a vehicle.

Paramedics gave first aid while firefighters worked to release the person. They cut off the roof of the vehicle to allow better access.

The casualty was taken to hospital just after 5pm.

Diversions were temporarily in place while crews were on scene.
