A woman in her 80s was airlifted to hospital after she fell in Holt.
The East of England Air Ambulance (EAAA), a rapid response vehicle and land ambulance from the East of England Ambulance Service Trust were called to Lodge Close just before 11am yesterday (Thursday).
An ambulance service spokesman said the elderly woman was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with a head injury and was in a “serious but stable condition”.
He added the woman was conscious in the EAAA helicopter, which left Holt at 12.20pm.
Nearly 3,000 people have supported a Facebook campaign demanding safety improvements on the A47 near Dereham set up after the latest fatal crash.
