The A1065 Castleacre Road between the Bear’s Lane junction and the A47 junction was closed between 7.22am and 9am after the collision between a van and a red Masda salon.

Firefighters freed the woman, who is believed to be in her 50s, and she was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn by land ambulance.

An ambulance service spokesman said another person who was injured had freed themselves and were checked and discharged at the scene.
