Norfolk’s summer extravaganza of sport for children continued with sessions on angling and football.
Sixteen teams from schools in years seven to 13 went head to head in angling at Barford Lakes in the Active Norfolk School Summer Games.
Meanwhile, more than 300 children from years three to six played football at The Football Development Centre.
The approach was one that showed sport is as much about being active as it is using skills such as co-ordination.
Astley Primary came first in the larger schools football while Corpusty Primary were at the top of their game in the small schools division.
And in the angling a startling achievement was made by the combined Norwich and Dereham team who caught just over 77 lbs of fish.
The best individual weight came in at over 44 lbs.
