A north Norfolk school has new double-glazed windows and doors worth £12,000 at its new outdoor learning centre, thanks to a donation from Anglian Home Improvements.

Polly Kossowicz, headteacher at Langham Village School, near Holt, said: “We are extremely grateful. This has gone towards the refurbishment of a new classroom for our older children.

“For many years the children have been learning in a mobile classroom which was looking very tired.

“The new building is now air-conditioned, light and comfortable and looks fantastic from the outside, and the roof no longer leaks.

“The children particularly like the decked area where they enjoy learning outside. They can sit on bean bags with an iPad or a book and look out over our field and the farmland beyond.”

Mark Ottaway, divisional managing director for Anglian Home Improvements London North and East Anglia, said: “It is fantastic to see the pupils enjoying the fantastic learning space created.”
