Pupils at a Lowestoft primary school were celebrating after their plays were selected for a special showcase.
Year 4 children at Northfield St Nicholas Primary Academy have been working with the Marina Theatre as part of the Untold Tales project.
After writing and submitting some creative plays, both classes from Year 4 had their works selected.
Children and their families were invited to watch their plays, 'The Adventures of Blissa and Bert' by the Magnolia class and 'Playing the Long Game' by the Chestnut class, which were performed by professional actors.
During the evening, their plays, along with others selected from a range of schools, were judged by Jane Zarins and Julia Sowerbutts from INK, the UK's premiere short play company. Chesnut's class play was chosen as the play of the evening and will now get the chance to work alongside INK in the near future.
Class teacher, Rebecca Goddard, said: 'We would like to thank the Marina Theatre for all their hard work and support during this process. I am so proud of the childrens' efforts and look forward to working with INK again'.
Headteacher, Iain Owens, added: 'This is the second time our children have attended the Marina Theatre recently and it's always such a worthwhile and positive experience.
'It was lovely to hear how well the children behave when they attend events and I'm looking forward to hearing about their future work with INK.'
