Aspiring young aviators have been invited to a string of open days at a new aviation academy in Norwich.

The International Aviation Academy, run by Aviation Skills Partnership, is hosting three events during the October half term to give young people an insight into the industry and meet pilots, engineers and controllers.

Simon Witts, founder and chief executive, said: 'From an early age many children have a fascination with planes and aviation, but we rarely see that interest and excitement translate into a career later in life.'
