Cromer students are hoping to transform their school into a place of eco-friendly education.
Pupils at Cromer Academy welcomed Kate Haselton-Glee from North Norfolk District Council's (NNDC) environment team on Tuesday, September 18 to discuss the steps they'd made towards a greener school.
She heard about the school's plan to reduce its environmental impact by using metal cutlery rather than plastic knives and forks; reducing food packaging; and increasing recycling and composting.
Headteacher Antony Little said: 'Students at Cromer Academy are knowledgeable about the environment and want to do more to help.
'The message from Kate was clear: we need to be looking at reducing our waste, reusing and recycling.
'The transformation of the environmental footprint of the school for future generations will be a great legacy for our eco-aware students.'
