A primary in Great Yarmouth has been told it needs to improve in its first inspection since becoming an academy.
Ofsted inspectors initially visited Cobholm Primary Academy, on Mill Road, for two days in September. They later returned for two days in January to 'gather further evidence around pupils' outcomes'.
In a report published on Monday, inspectors said the school required improvement overall, but was good in two categories - effectiveness of leadership and early years provision.
Inspectors said staffing changes had limited the impact of initiatives to improve teaching, learning and assessment, and that pupils needed 'reminding about the conduct that is expected in class'.
The report said that leaders had 'significantly improved pupils' confidence and pride in the school'.
'Pupils said, and the school's records show, that incidents of poor behaviour have reduced,' inspectors said. 'Attendance rates have improved and the proportion of pupils who are persistently absent from school has diminished.'
Inspectors noted that the school's learning environment had been improved, with a new library and playground area added.
But they said 'pupils' progress is uneven across year groups', and that the school should fully implement its new curriculum.
The academy joined the Inspiration Trust in 2014, a year after its predecessor Cobholm Primary School was put into special measures.
Acting principal Mrs Scott said: 'This is a tough but fair report, which recognises the great improvements that have been made at the school, including our new curriculum, our first dedicated library, and our brand new playgrounds.
'We know though that there is still more to do and Ofsted's comments match up with the plans we already have to support our pupils to keep improving.
'Both the staff in the school and the Inspiration Trust more widely are determined to build on what we have achieved so far, so that children in Cobholm get the best possible start in life.'
Mrs Scott replaced former principal Kimberly Morton, who was suspended, and later reinstated, late last year after an altercation at Quay Pride Bar in Yarmouth.
