Jazz, percussion, funk and brass were among the genres at a school’s winter concert.

City of Norwich School (CNS), part of the Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT), hosted the event, on Wednesday, December 13.

More than 200 guests attended the annual event, which included various ensembles from across the year groups.

Music ranged from Christmas favourites to classic music, pop songs to rock pieces.

CNS worked closely in partnership with the London Guildhall School of Music and Drama to put on the show.

Joanne Philpott, headteacher at CNS, said: “Our winter concert is always such a wonderful event for all involved and I’m so proud of all our students who put themselves out there this year to perform.

“Music is such an important part of what we do here at CNS and we will continue to ensure we provide enriching opportunities such as this to inspire our students.”
