Children in a Norfolk village are set for summer, thanks to new playground equipment installed on their playing field.
Pupils from Beeston Primary school spent the afternoon playing on the new equipment, which includes a zip wire, nest swing, toddler tower, trim trail and climbing tower.
The excited youngsters were led by head teacher Mrs Norris, school staff and members of the Village Hall and Playing Field Committee.
Businesses, organisations and individuals all came together to raise the funds needed to build the playground, with events including an Easter fun morning, summer fete, bingo and two sell-out barbecues.
In addition, grants and donations were received from: EDP Community Chest, Breckland Council Outdoor Sport and Play Fund, Dudgeon Community Fund, The Geoffrey Watling Charity, Dulverton Trust, Breckland Council Large Match Funding, Tesco Bags of Help fund, Waitrose Community Matters Scheme, Norfolk Playing Fields Association, Beeston Parish Council and several local Beeston businesses.
