A woman has been airlifted to hospital after being pulled from the lake at the University of East Anglia.
Police were called to the university at 2.40pm today following concerns for the safety of a woman who was was seen to have entered the lake.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew and an ambulance response car to the scene. The East Anglian Air Ambulance was also in attendance.
The woman was found to be unconscious and not breathing but after receiving life saving treatment at the scene, she was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by air ambulance.
The UEA tweeted: 'An incident took place on campus this afternoon after a woman entered the lake. Emergency services attended and she has been taken to hospital.'
