Around 50 public service, sport and voluntary service students from the college were involved in a project with the aim of developing brand awareness of Norwich City Football Club in Africa and the USA.

They presented their ideas to members of the education team at NCFC and the best groups will be invited to Carrow Road to chat to club officials about their ideas.

One group will then be chosen to travel to West Bromwich Albion’s home ground in March, where they will take part in interview sessions. All Premier League clubs are involved. The winners will get to go to Westminster to present their ideas to MPs and the chief executive of the Premier League.

Steve Bramble, schools and education manager, from the community sports foundation said: “We are delighted to be involved in this Premier League project. As a club and a league we are keen to promote the club in other parts of the world. We are always looking at ways of increasing our profile.”

“This was a great way of engaging with young people, taking them out of their comfort zones in a positive way and allowing them to be creative whilst thinking about and helping the club.”
