Member of Christian Together in Lowestoft and District took part in a walk of witness in which members carried a cross through the town centre from Our Lady Star of Sea Church to the United Reformed Church.

The procession of the cross stopped at four points in the town centre as members read out parts of the Bible and said prayers.

There were also services at both churches.

Margaret Poppy, chairman of the Christian group, said: “It is very important to remember Easter and Jesus’s sacrifice for us all.”
