E-fit released after attempted armed robbery in Caister

Police have released an e-fit of a man following an attempted armed robbery in Caister.
The incident happened in Eastern Avenue when a man cold called at a home and forced his way into the property.
The intruder, described as white and aged between 20 and 30, claimed to be looking for another man and was searching rooms when he was challenged by the householder. The suspect then threatened the victim with what is believed to be a BB gun before demanding money.
The resident refused, stating he did not have any cash, and went to grab the phone and the offender fled the scene.
Officers are keen to speak with anyone who may recognise the man in the e-fit or who may have witnessed the incident, which happened on Friday, July 25 at about 10.35am.
