Drivers have been urged to beware of ice on Norfolk’s roads this morning after temperatures plunged overnight.

Norfolk police urged drivers to take extra care this morning and to allow more time for their journeys.

The Met Office had issued a warning that ice could form, following snow flurries and rain across the county yesterday.

Norfolk County Council gritters went out overnight, but drivers have been urged to take extra care on roads which have not been treated.
