A 21-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital following a crash at Bodney.

The crash - in which a silver Honda Civic left the road and hit a tree - happened sometime before 4.45am on Wednesday, February 6 on the B1108 close to the junction with the A1065.

The driver, who comes from the Swaffham area, was initially taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn with serious head injuries but has subsequently been transferred to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridgshire where his condition is described as critical.

Officers from Norfolk police are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen the vehicle following the collision or witnessed the manner of driving of the Honda prior to the incident.

Witnesses are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
