The drainage work in Thunder Lane will see the road closed from the junction with Beechwood Drive for 200m south towards St Williams Way.

A signed diversion route will be in place via Plumstead Road East and St Williams Way, although vehicular access to properties and businesses will be maintained from one direction at all times and signs indicating businesses remain open will be erected.

The work, which will cost £48,750, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council and its contractors.

This will also mean the 24A First Buses service will be diverted via St Williams Way direct to the Heartsease roundabout in both directions. Plumstead Road East passengers will be able to use services 23 and 23A instead.
