A fire crew from Norwich were called out to rescue a sheep stuck in mud today.

Passers-by were unable to free the animal from mud in Bland Road, Earlham, so they called for help from the fire service.

It took the crew half an hour to pull the sheep to safety and they left the scene at about 12.25pm.
