Another beautiful star in the making, four-year-old crossbreed, Velvet, is hoping her moment in the limelight this week brings her one step closer to the most important thing in life: a loving home.

Kate Brewster, Dogs Trust Snetterton supporter relations officer, said: “Velvet is a bright young girl who is looking for an active home with a family who are keen to continue her training. With heaps of energy, and a fondness for food, Velvet has all the makings of an agility star, and once settled would love a chance to show off her speed and ability to jump high.

“Velvet is a very sweet lady who likes people and would be happy to live with children of eight years and over, and although we feel she would prefer to be the only dog, she would be happy to live with a feline friend. With a springy step and a zest for life, it is impossible not to fall in love with Velvet, who will make a fun and loving addition to the family.”
