A dog had to be rescued by firefighters after getting trapped down a foxhole this afternoon.

The crew from Stalham and an officer were called to the old mill area on the A149 Wayford Road, near Stalham, just after 3.15pm yesterday.

The emergency service workers left just before 3.30pm after the animal was successfully rescued from the deep hole.
