A pair of divers who went missing after losing communication with their dive boat were rescued off the north Norfolk coast today.
The Atlantic 75 and D Class vessels from the RNLI Happisburgh station were called at 1.50pm.
Both men were found three miles from Sea Palling and four miles north of Happisburgh at 2.10pm.
Philip Smith, press officer for the Happisburgh RNLI team, said both divers were not injured.
He added: “The dive boat had lost its electrics. When the divers were coming up they were unable to find the location of the boat because its navigation equipment had failed.”
Six crew members from the Happisburgh station were scrambled and spotted the divers above the water because of their inflatable markers on show.
The dive boat, which was close to the men, was pulled back to shore by the Sea Palling independent lifeboat.
