Police believe two burglaries in Gressenhall may be linked

Police are appealing for witnesses after hundreds of litres of diesel were siphoned from a lorry parked in a lay-by.

The crime happened between 2.45pm and 11.05pm on Monday, January 7, on the A11 southbound at Chalk Hill, Red Lodge, just over the Suffolk border, whilst a Scania lorry was parked up.

Access was gained to one of the fuel tanks and between 200 and 300 litres of diesel was siphoned from within.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area should call PC Rebecca Taylor at Mildenhall police on 101.
