A widow said she was 'over the moon' that a rarely-seen stage show featuring her husband will be screened on television in its entirety.

Morecambe & Wise Live! 1973 will be shown on Channel 5 at 10pm tomorrow. It captures two of Britain's most adored artists performing some of their best-loved comedy sketches in front of a live audience at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon, in 1973.

During the show, they have the backing of their orchestra, under the musical direction of Johnny Wiltshire, whose wife, Christine, lives in Dereham.

Mrs Wiltshire, whose husband died in 2006 aged 78, said: 'It's quite unique and I'm absolutely thrilled it's being shown. My husband kept a very low profile – he loved what he did but didn't shout about it. Looking back at his career, it's amazing the amount of work he did and, with this, I feel he has got a credit.'
