Drinkers from Dereham pubs are taking part in a pub crawl with a difference this weekend.

Teams will be raising money for charity by enjoying a drink in the town's numerous watering holes and asking for donations from fellow pub-goers.

The Dereham Pub Walk, launched by Railway Tavern landlord Paul Sandford, was first held last year and raised funds for PTSD Resolution which supports veterans, reservists, and their families struggling with the effects of combat related stress.

This year the money raised will go to Scotty's Little Soldiers, a Norfolk-based charity which supports bereaved British Forces children.

Pubs taking part so far include The Railway Tavern, Rusty Tap, Main Event, The Metro, Cherry Tree and The Red Lion.

Participants start in their local pub and walk to the others taking part with collection buckets, from 12pm until midnight on Saturday.
