Overnight rain and fast melting snow has led to flooding on some roads in mid Norfolk.

The Environment Agency have issued a flood warning to River Tud and the River Wensum from Great Ryburgh to Lenwade, including Wendling Beck.

The overnight rain has quickly run off wet ground causing river levels to rise on the Wendling Beck.

The agency added that the peak of the river is near Beetley, and river levels are likely to stabilise and then fall.

Police said an officer went out to Beetley, but said the water is only effecting fields, and not houses.

They have advised drivers in mid Norfolk to be aware of the surface water.

There are also reports of water above the normal level at Shipdham and on the Dereham to Fakenham Road.
