A Dereham dance teacher is holding a Zumba-thon to raise cash for a children's cancer charity.

Becky Henman, 34, runs Centre Stage in the town and this Friday is using her skills for a good cause.

Mrs Henman is running the London Marathon next month with her football manager husband Matt – and must raise £1,800 for the charity Clic Sargent.

She has organised a two-hour Zumba session for the cause – and has a host of luxurious prizes to give away in a charity raffle.

From afternoon tea for two, to a spa pass and Norwich City tickets – they are all up for grabs to raise money to support unwell children.

Mrs Henman said she is excited ahead of the gruelling 26.2-mile event next month.

She said: 'For the girls I teach to dance, hopefully it will be inspiring for them to see somebody going that extra mile and doing something for charity.

'Hopefully it will be an inspiration for young people and show you can do it, whatever your age.'

To buy a £10 ticket for the two-hour charity Zumba session this Friday, March 21 at 6.45pm at Northgate High School in Dereham call Becky on 07770 944848
