The deadline is looming for a competition offering a £300 camera prize for the best photo of Cromer’s New Year’s Day fireworks.
Wednesday January 16 is the closing date for entries from professionals, amateurs, adults or children.
The competition, being run by the town council and event organisers in liaison with the News and electrical store Bennetts which is providing the Panasonic Lumix TZ30 camera prize.
Judges, who will include News photographer Antony Kelly, will be looking for images which capture the spirit of the spectacular staged on Cromer Pier, which attracts thousands of visitors.
They must have been taken at this year’s event.
Entries can be emailed in jpeg format to fireworks@cromertown.org.
Print versions can be mailed to Firework Photography Competition, c/o Cromer Town Council offices, North Lodge, Overstrand Road, Cromer NR27 0AH.
