A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital with suspected leg injuries after an early-morning collision with a car in Pakefield.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were called out about 9.27am this morning (Sunday) to the junction of All Saints Road and Pakefield Street in Pakefield following reports of a car being in collision with a bicycle.

Joy Hale, from the East of England Ambulance Service, said: “The patient was a woman aged about 20. A rapid response vehicle was with her in about five minutes, followed by an ambulance.

“She suffered suspected leg and pelvic fractures, so was treated and stabilised at the scene before being taken to the James Paget University Hospital (in Gorleston).”
