It’s been a tough time for residents and businesses in the town who had to endure a weekend of public disorder.

And while what happened over 36 hours from Friday to Sunday is still not far from people’s lips, everyone now seems to want to put it all behind them.

Tom FitzPatrick, Leader of North Norfolk District Council, said: “Our message is clear, Cromer is a special family-friendly seaside resort and we will continue to work hard to keep it that way. Cromer is very much open for business.”

So head down to the seafront again to enjoy fish and chips and enjoy the wonderful views of the coastline, the pier, and the wide open beaches. And if it’s warm enough, how about a paddle in the sea?
