An elderly woman was injured when a mobility scooter crashed into her in Cromer town centre this morning.
The woman was walking along the pavement at West Street when she was hit from behind by the scooter being driven by a local woman.
The casualty was taken to the minor injuries unit at Cromer Hospital for treatment.
Eyewitness Bernie Walsh said: “The scooter came in from Hamilton Road with the bell ringing like a fire engine.
“It hit the lady from behind, knocked her over and ran over her.
“The scooter tipped over, but the rider fell off, but got back on again,” he added.
The accident happened in late morning.
