A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving on Wednesday afternoon after four cars were crashed into.

The woman was stopped in Beccles shortly after 5pm with a young child also inside the car.

Suffolk police are now calling for witnesses after the series of crashes.

The first crash was in Ellough Road, but three other vehicles were found damaged in Queen Elizabeth Drive, at the junction of Hillside Avenue and Ellough Road, and in Petit Couronne Way.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after police stopped a car in Petit Couronne Way.

The woman, from Beccles, has been bailed until March 27.
