Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a motorbike in Norwich.

The incident happened between 6pm last Friday and 3pm on Monday .

A yellow Gilera motorcycle was stolen from a private road off Bracondale Millgate.

The bike was discovered on Monday with the front light removed and ignition damaged close to the railway bridge heading towards Trowse.

Officers say the bike would have been taken across a busy road, and are keen to speak to any witnesses.

Call police on 101.
