A house in Lyng was damaged after would-be burglars tried to force open two windows and two doors sometime during a three-week period over the summer, police said.

Police are appealing for information about the attempted burglary at the house on Easthaugh Road which took place between Wednesday August 15 and Saturday September 8.

Although they failed to break in, police said the offenders did cause damage.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in that part of Lyng over the past few weeks should contact DC Claire Fox at Thetford CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
