A CAR flipped on its side on the A12 at Kessingland causing a lane to be blocked this morning (Thursday).
Emergency services were called just before 7.45am following reports of a single-vehicle collision on the northbound A12 at Kessingland.
Ambulance, fire and police all attended the scene, and a police spokesman said the vehicle, a red MG, was taken off the carriageway.
The police spokesman said: “The red MG car went over onto its side and the female driver was initially trapped because of the vehicle position. She is believed to be in her mid 20s and reported having neck pain.
“The vehicle was off the carriageway but one lane was closed. Recovery was underway about 8.30am.”
Nearly 3,000 people have supported a Facebook campaign demanding safety improvements on the A47 near Dereham set up after the latest fatal crash.
