Police are appealing for information about an assault in King’s Lynn.

A woman was walking along Sandringham Path, off Tennyson Avenue, between 9.20 and 9.45am on Sunday, when she was approached from behind by a man who put his hand on her face. The woman pushed it away and he walked off towards Gaywood.

The man is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, of slim build and was wearing blue jeans, white trainers, a dark-coloured hooded top and gloves.

Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed this assault or saw the man beforehand or afterwards.
