King's Lynn police are calling for witnesses after a woman was assaulted on Bishops Road.
They are searching for a male who attacked the women on Sunday, August 24, between 3pm and 8pm.
It is said the male and female knew each other.
The woman, aged in her 40s, received serious face injuries as a result of the attack which required surgery.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a male acting suspiciously in the area around that time.
