A burglar fled from a city home with a pair of gloves after being disturbed.

The break-in happened on Heath Road in the north of the city on Thursday December 27 between 3.30pm and 3.40pm.

The burglar walked into the home through an unlocked side door but was disturbed by a woman who heard him on the stairs.

He then fled from the home picking up a pair of women’s leather gloves.

The suspect is described as white, five foot ten inches tall, of thin build and aged in his late 20s.
