POLICE are seeking witnesses after a 25-year-old suffered a stab wound to his leg as trouble flared in a fight at Bridge Road in Oulton Broad.

The “altercation,” which police are investigating, happened about 2.20am last Friday (January 18).

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH following the incident in the car park near Golden Court. He has now been bailed to return to police on March 4, pending further inquiries.

A police spokesman said: “The 25-year-old man was taken to the James Paget University Hospital at Gorleston where he received treatment for the centimetre long wound. We are keen to speak to anyone who saw the altercation – if you can help please call PC Gary Brown at Lowestoft police on 101.”
