Witness appeal launched after man’s jaw is broken as trouble flares in Lowestoft

Police are seeking witnesses after a man suffered a broken jaw as trouble flared in an incident at Rant Score in Lowestoft.

There was a verbal argument between a 32-year-old man and a 49-year-old man about 1.30pm to 1.40pm on Friday, May 9 at premises there, before the 32-year-old man suffered a broken jaw.

Police have interviewed the 49-year-old man and are appealing for witnesses to what happened.

It’s known there were several people in the area around this time and officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw any part of what happened.
