Police are warning people in Bungay to be on their guard after three break-ins last night.
Homes in Manor Road, Hillside Road East and Fairfield Road were all entered between 4.45pm and 6.30pm.
In Manor Road someone broke in through a window, but when a light was turned on they ran away.
In Hillside Road East a woman discovered a man, believed to be in his teens, had entered her home through an unlocked back door.
He is described as about 6ft tall, of medium build wearing a dark grey hooded top with a dark coloured gilet over the top, jeans and light coloured shoes.
In Fairfield Road someone entered the home through an unlocked door, again when someone was in, and took a key.
A police spokesman said: “We are urging residents to be vigilant, to remember to lock all doors and secure windows and to leave a light or two on inside their homes if they are out during the hours of darkness.”
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
