Vandals damage school statue donated in competition

A school statue which was painted by pupils and donated as part of a competition has been attacked by vandals.

The six-foot stag at Queensway Infant School, in Thetford, suffered “extensive damage” to its legs and hooves after being pushed over, according to Thetford Police.

The incident took place between 11.30pm on Saturday and 1am on Sunday.
