A 28-year-old man has been charged with the attempted robbery of a Norwich convenience store,

Craig Bushell, of Boston Street, Norwich, will be appearing at Norwich Magistrates Court tomorrow.

The alleged attempted robbery was said to have taken place at Reds Convenience Store, in St Benedict’s Street, Norwich, on Sunday, July 22.

Police have said that officers are continuing to investigate other robberies in the city during the past few weeks.

The most recent was on Monday afternoon when C and B Sales in Aylsham Road was robbed.

Another shop in Aylsham Road was robbed on July 9 and one in Silver Street, north of the city, five days later.
