Three men appeared in court today in connection with the attempted theft of a cash machine at the UEA student’s union in Norwich. The incident happened at the Nick Rayns LCR building at about 8.15pm on Monday, December 2.

John Eli Loveridge, 37, of Beck Row in Mildenhall, 18-year-old John Stanley Loveridge, of Greenways in Newton Flotman, and 33-year-old Leonard Smith, of Moat Way in Swavesey, have all been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

All three appeared at Norwich magistrates’ court today and were remanded in police custody, to appear again at the same court on Monday, December 9.
