Windows on at least 11 vehicles – including a Mazda parked in Roman Road, a Peugeot, a Kia and a Vauxhall parked in Wollaston Road, a Toyota and a VW Transporter in Beckham Road, a Toyota parked in Haward Street, a Transit van in Selby Street and three cars parked in Norwich Road – were smashed between 8pm on Friday (May 9) and 4am on Saturday (May 10).

Several of the damaged vehicles were discovered by police officers on night-time patrols in the area.

A Peugeot parked in an alleyway at the back of homes in Stanley Street and a Kia parked in Hervey Street also had windows broken overnight on Saturday into Sunday (May 11).

Police are asking anyone who may have seen any of the incidents or anyone with information about who caused the damage to contact the Lowestoft North Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.

A police spokesman said: “Officers are also urging anyone seeing or hearing any suspicious activity to call police immediately using 999.”
