Thirteen-year-old Demi-Leigh Waterman was reported missing on Tuesday (September 25) after she failed to turn up at school.

But this morning (Thursday), a police spokesman said: “We can now confirm that Demi-Leigh Waterman has been found safe and well. She arrived at the home of a relative last night.”

The teenager, of Dunston Drive in Oulton, had attended her Army Cadets Corps meeting at St Peters Street in Lowestoft on Tuesday evening, but last night police issued an appeal for information with officers “concerned for her welfare.”

However, the 13-year-old is now at home with a relative after being found.
