Four men have been charged with two counts of fraud by false representation.

Police had been called to a bank in London Road North in Lowestoft on Thursday after staff were suspicious of two men trying to access another person’s bank account.

This followed a similar incident in Great Yarmouth earlier in the day.

Roberto Alcantara, 27, of Knatchbull Road, north-west London, Rimantas Balciunas, 34 of Humphreys Road, Cambridge, Saheed Akinbile, 32 of Caspian Way, Purfleet, and Sabastine Ihonor, 30, of Cowden Street, south-east London, will appear at Lowestoft Magistrates’ Court on January 15.
