Officers searching for a missing Norfolk man have confirmed that they have found a body.
The Norfolk police helicopter was last night deployed over Hevingham, between Norwich and Aylsham, as concerns grew in the search for Alan Morrison.
The 26-year-old was reported missing at 5.30pm yesterday, and ground units were also dispatched in the search.
A spokesman for Norfolk Police this afternoon confirmed that a body was found by officers at around 11.20am in woodland close to the A140.
'Norfolk Constabulary can confirm the body of a man has been located in Hevingham. The death is not believed to be suspicious.'
'The body is believed to be that of Alan Morrison who was reported missing yesterday evening.'
'Her Majesty's Coroner will be informed and an inquest will open in due course.'
