A man arrested in connection with the 'unexplained' death of a young man at Aylsham has been released by police.
Officers were called to an address in John O'Gaunt Close at about 4.40pm on Saturday.
The call was made by paramedics after the body of a man, believed to be in his 20s, was found inside.
Detectives have been at the address and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's death which is being treated as unexplained at this stage.
Norfolk police initially said a 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and was helping police with their enquiries.
This afternoon they said he had been released on bail pending further inquiries.
An undertakers van left the house at around 10.30pm last night, when the only police presence was a local beat officer guarding the scene.
Police said this afternoon a post mortem examination would take place 'in due course.'
This morning neighbours said they were unaware of the incident in the quiet suburban cul-de-sac named after the historic town's 14th lord of the manor.
They said there were no sirens and no fuss, and it was a shock to learn of the news via the media.
